- ABRAHAMThe study of the life of Abraham is important because he was chosen by God to become the father of a new nation. In God’s dealings, seeds were planted in his heart from which were to spring wonderful result for all future believers.1
- DAVIDHis boyhood was spent as a shepherd. He was eminently gifted, being skilled in playing the lyre. His childhood was spent on his father’s farm near Bethlehem. He was the youngest of eight sons of Jessie. As a shepherd he showed great courage in protecting the flock.1
- PAULChrist Jesus came in to the world to save sinners - and I was the worst of them all. Do you tell that you have sinned too much to be saved? According to the world’s worst sinner, this is impossible. Prior to his conversion, Paul relentlessly persecuted Christians. Yet God’s grace was sufficient to save him.1
- TIMOTHYThough burdened by poor health, Timothy was used by God to faithfully and truthfully minister to at least five NT churches. Not even physical infirmities can keep us from serving God, if we will trust him.1
